FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - UTILITY COOLING
Provides households with at least one vulnerable person with money to help with electric bills during summer months when air conditioning/fans are used. Depending on funding and client situation, funds may also be available for use toward purchase, replacement or installation of an air conditioner; repair of central air conditioning unit or heat pump; payment of electric security deposit; or payment of an electric bill to operate the cooling equipment. Applications are generally accepted from mid-June to mid-August or until funding is depleted.
